Expect plenty of transfer talk over the next week or so as Liverpool begins its winter break. The Premier League is yet to really ramp up its business, but with a little over a fortnight left of the window, business will start to happen — whether or not that is at Anfield, only time will tell. The Reds continued their great start to 2024 as they went a step closer to Wembley with victory over Fulham in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final on Wednesday. The two sides will do battle again in two weeks. Before then, Jürgen Klopp’s men will get a short break, and no doubt the Liverpool boss will welcome that right now.
